Section Tasks

The primary task of the Embassy's Economic and Commercial Section is to promote Argentine exports to the Netherlands and encourage foreign investment in our country. This section provides support to Argentine businesspeople interested in establishing contacts with Dutch companies or to those who already have contacts in the Netherlands and wish to strengthen and expand them.

The main services provided by the Commercial Section are:

- Searching for contacts with companies that produce and import specific products.

- Identifying potential market niches for Argentine products.

- Disseminating information on Argentine export opportunities received through our Foreign Ministry.

- Exploring the interest of Dutch businesspeople in importing specific products.

- Once the exploratory work has been carried out, if the Argentine businessperson decides to travel to the Netherlands, this section can, at their request, organize a schedule of business meetings.

- Contact with Argentine and Dutch official institutions responsible for economic affairs and the promotion of foreign trade.

- Participation of Argentine companies in fairs and exhibitions.
