2020 - EXTENSION OF THE OPENING TERM OF THE BID "PUERTO NUEVO - BUENOS AIRES".
The Embassy is pleased to provide information on the extension of the opening of the tender “PUERTO NUEVO - BUENOS AIRES” till March 20, 2020 at 11 am.
The General Port Administration (AGP) reports:
The extension of the term of opening of the National and International Public Tender for the Concession of Public Works for the Construction, Conservation and Exploitation of the Port Terminal of PUERTO NUEVO BUENOS AIRES has been established for March 20, 2020, by Resolution 174. Also, remind that the tender for the Plan for the Modernization of Puerto Buenos Aires was launched on May 27, through Resolution No. 256/19, the Bidding Documents (PLIEG-2019-40905191-APN # MTR) were approved.

The AGP also recalls that technical consultations and technical visits can only be carried out formally through the procedure established in the specifications.
2019 - NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL PUBLIC BIDDING OF THE CENTRAL GAS PIPELINE
The Embassy of the Argentine Republic to the Kingdom of The Netherlands would like to inform about the Natural Gas Transportation License ‐ National‐International Tender - of the Ministry of Finance and Secretariat of Energy in Argentina.
The "National and International Public Bidding of the Central Gas Pipeline" is an international tender to award a license for the provision of the natural gas transport service, which necessarily includes the design and construction of a gas pipeline that it will connect the sub zone Neuquén Province with the following areas of the Province of Buenos Aires:
a.- The suburbs of the Gran Buenos Aires and its Litoral.
b.- Salliqueló.
c.- San Nicolás de los Tres Arroyos.

Summary of the extension of the term of opening of the “National and International Public Tender for the Public Works Concession for the Construction, Conservation and Exploitation of the Port Terminal of PUERTO NUEVO BUENOS AIRES” sent by the General Directorate of Institutional Relations of the Ministry of Transportation.
"The competitive bidding of the Modernization Plan of Puerto Buenos Aires was launched on May 27, 2019, through the administrative resolution Nº 256/19, and established the approval of tendering conditions (PLIEG-2019-40905191-APN#MTR) that will rule the National and International Competitive Bidding for the Concession of Public Work for the Construction, Maintenance and Exploitation of the Port Terminal PUERTO NUEVO-BUENOS AIRES . In addition, ADMINISTRACION GENERAL DE PUERTOS SOCIEDAD DEL ESTADO, through the administrative resolution Nº 117/19, establishes the opening date to be December 2 nd , 2019 at 11 am.

On the other hand, technical inquiries and visits can only be made through formal procedure according to tendering conditions. That is why we cannot answer any technical questions through any means other than the ones established in the tendering conditions. Nonetheless, we remain at your disposal for any questions you may have regarding our Modernization Plan."
In this regard, the communication sent by the Ministry of Transportation of the Argentine Republic clarifies that any consultation of the specifications and/or request for a visit to the port must be managed, for a legal matter, through the General Entrance Board of the General Administration of Ports (AGP) personally. In the case of foreign companies, they must prove legal status in our country.
2019 - ENERGY: RENOVAR
The Embassy of the Argentine Republic to the Kingdom of The Netherlands, would like to inform that by Resolution No. 52/19 of February 19th, 2019, Argentina´s Government Secretariat of Energy established that the holders of Renewable Energy Projects awarded in Round 2 of the Renovar Program ("Renovar 2") may request an extension of the respective Scheduled Dates of Advancement of Works.
This extension might be attractive for companies in the renewable energy sector and for financial institutions that could finance or acquire a project.

2019 - ENERGY/INFRASTRUCTURE/CONSTRUCTION: PUBLIC PRIVATE PARTICIPATION (PPP): EXTRA HIGH VOLTAGE LINE 500 KV E.T. RIO DIAMANTE - NEW E.T. CHARLONE.
The Embassy of the Argentine Republic to the Kingdom of The Netherlands would like to inform that by Resolution No. 81/2019, the Argentina´s Government Secretariat of Energy opened a national and international call for construction and maintenance of the first electric transmission line to be tendered via Public Private Participation (PPP): Extra High Voltage Line 500 kV E.T. Rio Diamante - New E.T. Charlone, Transforming Stations and complementary works in 132 kV.
The aforementioned Tender has expiration date on May 27, 2019.

2019 - BUENOS AIRES PORT MODERNIZATION PLAN
The Embassy is pleased to inform you about the “Buenos Aires Port Modernization Plan” of the Ministry of Transport and the General Ports Administration of the Argentine Republic.
“The Buenos Aires Port is Argentina's main port for loading containers, with traffic reaching 900 KTEU (2017). It currently has three container terminals under concession agreements due to expire by may 2020. As a result, the Buenos Aires Port plans to launch an international bidding process in February 2019 for the concession of the new container terminal.
The Buenos Aires Port intends to renew the port following a flexible design that can adapt to the needs of the next fifty years in a more competitive fashion, by integrating into the world and maintaining a healthy relationship with the community, while observing environmental and quality standards.
The Modernization Plan follows the guidelines of the Strategic Sustainability Plan and the Security Plan of the Buenos Aires Port. Modernization must be both sustainable and safe.
Progress will be made during the next ten years on building an outdoor terminal, in line with the world's main ports. The goal is to build the best possible port in the shortest possible time, without affecting operations, while increasing container flow.”
